Plasma vs. LCD/LED. There is NO comparison when looking at large 50″+ screens. The black tones and refresh rate are two of the many reasons why I chose plasma. A refresh rate like 120Hz or 240 Hz is only important if it’s a LCD or LED. Plasma’s refresh rate is so fast that they don’t even need to publish it. And a contrast ratio of 3,000,000-to-1 is WAY better than 100,000-to-1. Even a 5th grader can do the math on this one. 30 times the contrast ration means what? A better contrast between light and dark tones on the screen. Choose plasma for either for the picture or the price. And Samsung is the best overall value from any reviewer you can investigate. Either way you are picking a winner! You won’t be sorry.

In the spring, I bought a Samsung 42 inch. It was beautiful and had outstanding reviews. When I brought it home, I was impressed with the picture but the sound quality was flat-out awful. So back it went. I researched many tvs before I bought again and wanting an outstanding picture as well as sound quality, I purchased the G-10 here at Amazon. I can tell you that it is a purchase I am most proud of. The colors have me in amazement and the sound quality is truly excellent. This is my first review at Amazon and it took this outstanding product to make me want to share the details of my search. I look forward to turning it on and experiencing the wonderful land of tv right in my own home as I’ve never experienced it before. I am purchasing blu-ray movies now because you absolutely can’t believe the quality on this tv. If you enjoy excellence in your own home, then you don’t have to make choices. This one will more than meet your needs.

I just received my LN52B750 a couple days ago and I am extremely pleased with this TV. The B750 offers extremely bright and vivid colors, so much so that you would swear you are looking at a plasma and the room I have mine in is very well lit. I have yet to notice any motion blur and there is a lot of options to suite the needs for different inputs and settings.

I do wish that Samsung would provide direct input buttons though. Many TV’s have gone away with this option but it really is a must for people using universal remotes with macro buttons. To create a macro on my universal remote that will power on the TV and set a specific input, I have to engage in a lengthy process.
- Power on the TV and wait several seconds before it will accept any other inputs from the remote. (The boot up time is actually a little long).
- Set the TV to the standard “Cable” screen. (Necessary because without establishing a consistent starting point, you cannot step correctly to a specific input as the TV will default to the last used input first)
- Select the “Source” button. (This brings up a pretty menu of the inputs available but grays out the ones that you do not have a powered device connected to so make sure you have everything powered on already)
- Down arrow through the menu “X” number of times. (This will depend on what input you want to get to. For me it was one of the HDMI connections so that I start with watching TV from my satellite).
- Select the “OK” or button to have the TV assign the input and remove the source screen.

I have seen some people state the speakers in the B750 are weak. I think you shouldn’t buy a large LCD screen TV for it’s internal speakers though. I have yet to find any TV that has halfway acceptable speakers. Even a cheap receiver setup would do wonders over TV speakers.

Delivery was handled nicely and it was brought into the house, unpacked and checked thoroughly…with my assistance of course.

Thoroughly please with this TV!

The Blueray player is great. Lot’s of great features. The netflixs works great and the youtube is cool. Video quality of youtube is a little grainy on my 52in tv but that’s typical of youtube. LG is constantly adding new features to the player.

As a truck driver I am very picky about what I use. I cannot afford to become lost. The trucker model does not offer enough extra for the money in my opinion. This particular item I purchased for my Russian wife and she very likes it. It is not the first Garmin I have owned but then It won’t be my last either. The one I had to replace was borrowed when my wife left the Jeep unlocked. The lock designed in will not stop a thief but it will make it garbage if stolen. It is user friendly because my wife is technology handicapped.

As to a choice I chose it for the features most need for my wife. She needs the MSN right now to find fuel prices and the like. MSN is ending (Jan 1, 2012) but till then it is handy and helpful. I give it a 4.5 of 5 rating and would recommend it entirely to anyone who needs such a unit.

Just remember nothing truly replaces the brain god gave us. It can give a route different than you know is right because it uses set parameters that we cannot modify. So use common sense when following this or any type GPS device. You make the decisions not the device. If I followed blindly every time I would have wrecked my truck. So be safe and use it as an aid not as a must do way.

This item has worked EXACTLY as described and better. This unit picks up satelites even while I am in most buildings. I have not lost signal unless in a metal building without windows.

I Highly recommend this product. It is very nice to compare fuel prices while driving down the road, and then have it route to the fuel station of your choice.

Again, I am VERY pleased with this item.

All I have to say is GET THIS!!!! I got it for a trip from GA to PA and lots of running around while in PA and I LOVED it !!! I will never be lost again! I felt such peace of mind. The features I like best (in order) are : 1) street names spoken– spend the extra money- you won’t be sorry, 2) the directional in the upper left corner that tells what direction you will be turning in plenty of time; 3) the anticipated arrival time was FUN to have…and right on the money accuracy-wise. I love everything about this unit– would give it 10 stars if I could!!

got the 260w a week ago. works great. i went to garmins website and updated whatever needed to be updated. took about an hour to download. after that, found the satellites fast and the poi’s seem pretty up to date. i would definitely recommend this product.
